Innovation and Production Capacity at the Service of Rubber Regeneration and Recycling Reuse doubles its pulverization line: more production capacity

A new strategic investment that strengthens our patented rubber regeneration process

Plant expansion

Reuse is taking another major step in its growth: our pulverization line is about to be doubled. This strategic investment significantly increases the company’s production capacity and allows us to respond even more quickly and flexibly to the growing demand for high-quality reclaimed rubber from our customers in Italy and abroad.

Pulverization is a crucial stage of our process: it is where rubber offcuts and scrap are reduced to rubber powder, the raw material that feeds the subsequent devulcanization process. Doubling this line means being able to handle larger volumes of incoming material, from natural rubber (NR) to EPDM, from SBR to NBR, as well as technical rubber articles, and turn them into reclaimed compounds ready to return to the production cycle.

Doubling the pulverization line is not just a technical expansion: it is a concrete response to a market that asks more and more of us. With this new configuration, Reuse further increases its capacity to produce reclaimed rubber products, shortening processing times and guaranteeing continuity of supply even on large volumes, without ever giving up what sets us apart: quality.

“Growing our production capacity only makes sense to us on one condition: that every additional kilogram of reclaimed compound maintains the same exceptional quality that our patent allows us to guarantee.”

Reuse’s strength: a one-of-a-kind international patent

Behind every investment we make there is one fixed point: the patent filed by Reuse, internationally recognized and unique of its kind. This patent makes the difference in the quality of the reclaimed compound we supply: a material that retains its original physical and mechanical properties, with intact polymer chains, and that can be reused in new production cycles with performance comparable to that of virgin rubber.

All this is made possible by the proprietary techniques developed in-house by our team and by machinery built and modified directly by Reuse, custom-designed to achieve an exceptionally high level of product quality. We do not use standard technologies: every phase of the process, from pulverization to devulcanization, is the result of years of research, experimentation and exclusive know-how. It is this combination of patent, proprietary techniques and dedicated machinery that no other operator in the sector can replicate.

A plant that grows with sustainability in mind

Even with the doubling of the pulverization line, our automated 4.0 plant continues to operate at low temperature, polluting neither groundwater nor the atmosphere. For Reuse, increasing production capacity also means multiplying the positive impact on the environment: more rubber offcuts and scrap diverted from landfill, more secondary raw material returned to industry, more real and measurable circular economy.

This expansion confirms the direction we chose from the very beginning: to show that rubber is not waste, but a valuable resource that can live again indefinitely. And today, with doubled pulverization capacity, we can do so on an even larger scale.

What does doubling the pulverization line mean?

A significant increase in Reuse’s production capacity: we can process larger volumes of rubber offcuts and scrap, reducing processing times and ensuring greater continuity of supply to customers.

Does the quality of the reclaimed compound stay the same?

Absolutely. The exceptional quality of the reclaimed compound is guaranteed by the international patent filed by Reuse, unique of its kind, and by the proprietary techniques and machinery developed in-house.

Which materials can be processed?

Natural rubber (NR), EPDM, SBR, NBR, chloroprene, butadiene (BR), technical rubber articles and end-of-life tires (ELTs).

Is Reuse’s process sustainable?

Yes: the automated 4.0 plant operates at low temperature and pollutes neither groundwater nor the atmosphere, turning potential waste into high-quality secondary raw materials.
